If you have children and are wondering what to do with them this summer – Chorley Library is holding two-hour long craft sessions for children. These run each Tuesday for 2 hours (9:30 am – 11:30 am): [...] STAR attractions topping the bill at the eagerly-awaited Chorley Smile Picnic in the Park next month can now be revealed. The popular television characters Fifi from ‘Fifi and the Flowertots’ and Fireman Sam, Pontypandy’s ‘hero next door’ will be the guest celebrities for children to meet and greet on a day that promises to be packed full of family fun and entertainment. People are being invited to come on down to Chorley’s Astley Park on Sunday, July 4, from noon to 5pm for the fabulous Chorley Smile Picnic in the Park organised by Chorley Council. [...] On the 13th February 2010 Astley Park has a Family day. [...] You are invited to join the rangers in making Bird Boxes for putting up around the Park. [...] The council and the local paper in Chorley along with Chorley FM have released more information on this years Christmas celebrations in the town. The celebrations will start at noon on November 28th and end at 6pm on the same day [...] As part of the Christmas celebrations this year – the much enjoyed ice-rink which was outside the covered market is returning.
