As part of the Christmas celebrations this year – the much enjoyed ice-rink which was outside the covered market is returning. [...] On Saturday November 28th 2009, Chorley’s Christmas lights are being officially switched on. [...] he Christmas Market is back in Chorley, From the 25th of November until 28th November 2009 [...] On November 22nd 2009 there is the Annual antiques and craft fair at Astley Hall. [...] As local’s may have heard the annual fireworks display at Astley Park (which is the one most people like to go to) has been cancelled this year. However the Red Bank Scout Group are holding their annual display at Duxbury Park on the 31st October 2009. [...] If you are wondering what to do with the kids this half-term, and if they like animals, then head on to Astley Park. During the recent work across the entire park, the old Pet’s Corner was removed. It is back, with a great line-up.
