Animal Magic at Martin Mere, Ormskirk

Looking for something to do at the weekends now that school is back?

If your in the North-West of England, or fancy having a bit of a drive, then on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September 2010, Martin Mere Wetland Centre is holding an Animal Magic weekend.

With lots of things to do and see it will be a great day out for families with children of all ages!

  • Alpacas and huskies
  • meerkats, skunks and raccon
  • chincillas and ferrets
  • birds of prey
  • kune kune pig
  • ponies
  • The North West Reptile Society and insects
  • Origami
  • Pond Dipping
  • Animal crafts and charities

If you are a member of the WWT then you can get in for free, otherwise normal admission prices apply.  If you live quite near, membership can be very worthwhile and for a small family could cost less than 2 pounds a week!
