As local’s may have heard the annual fireworks display at Astley Park (which is the one most people like to go to) has been cancelled this year.
This is 2009′s Bonfire Night – this article has been replaced here.
However the Red Bank Scout Group are holding their annual display at Duxbury Park on the 31st October 2009.
Gates open @ 6pm, Bonfire lit @ 6.30pm with fireworks to follow at 7.15pm
This also happens to be the biggest FREE bonfire and fireworks display run by a Scout Group in the UK!
The event is ideal for all the family with good access for pushchairs & wheelchairs from the Bolton Road entrance.
