As local’s may have heard the annual fireworks display at Astley Park (which is the one most people like to go to) has been cancelled this year. However the Red Bank Scout Group are holding their annual display at Duxbury Park on the 31st October 2009. [...] If you are wondering what to do with the kids this half-term, and if they like animals, then head on to Astley Park. During the recent work across the entire park, the old Pet’s Corner was removed. It is back, with a great line-up. Opening on the 26th October 2009 in it’s new home [...] The council’s get up and go activity program has a website for the October half-term.
