STAR attractions topping the bill at the eagerly-awaited Chorley Smile Picnic in the Park next month can now be revealed. The popular television characters Fifi from ‘Fifi and the Flowertots’ and Fireman Sam, Pontypandy’s ‘hero next door’ will be the guest celebrities for children to meet and greet on a day that promises to be packed full of family fun and entertainment. People are being invited to come on down to Chorley’s Astley Park on Sunday, July 4, from noon to 5pm for the fabulous Chorley Smile Picnic in the Park organised by Chorley Council. The council’s get up and go activity program has a website for the October half-term. While I realise we missed most of it (d’oh) might be in time to help a few of you out (our excuse is because we were on holiday & launching the site!)
